My love of travel began at 18, my first journey through Europe. What started as a youthful fascination became a lifelong passion for discovering extraordinary places, embracing different cultures, and experiencing the world through adventure.
Over the years, I’ve explored 48 countries, from cycling through spectacular mountain landscapes to working aboard intimate luxury cruise ships. Travel has never simply been about destinations for me—it’s about the experiences that stay with us long after we return home.

From Salon to the Sea
I’ve spent more than four decades as a licensed cosmetologist, with advanced training in Europe. Early in my career, I also worked aboard small luxury ships, including Windstar and Renaissance Cruises, where I provided onboard cosmetology services and experienced firsthand the style, service, and intimacy that make small-ship travel so distinctive.
Those years deepened my appreciation for beauty, hospitality, and meaningful travel. They continue to shape the way I curate the experiences featured on TripTypes today.

Cycling has taken me through some of the world’s most extraordinary landscapes, from the mountain passes of the Italian Dolomites to the scenic valleys of Switzerland and beyond.
With experience in road cycling, mountain biking, e-bike touring, and multisport adventures, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for exploring destinations at a different pace. It’s this firsthand experience that inspires the active travel journeys I share through TripTypes.
